Emergency Technologies, Inc. provides comprehensive training on several different levels, and customizes training to fit each customer’s needs. ETI generally proposes a two-stage approach to training for the FRMS.
The first stage is System Administration training where we provide comprehensive, detailed instruction for System Administrators to facilitate the technical management of the system. We explain the technical and managerial options for customizing and configuring the system. This customization is not software development; rather these are changes that the client can make without outside assistance.
The second stage is End User training designed to train end users and support personnel on the features and functionality of the different aspects of the solution to prepare them for using the system in a live environment. End User training is also broken down into courses. The user training is generally proposed with a ‘train the trainer’ approach. ETI recommends that you develop a ‘training team’ that is responsible for all the end-user training. This approach ensures that you have a group of people with in-depth knowledge of the FRMS.
Both System Administration and User Training classes will be conducted on-site in customer facilities. ETI’s instructors have in-the-field Fire and EMS experience allowing them to communicate and train with real world examples and experience.
ETI also provides periodic alternative and specialized training programs. Various training programs are offered at our Users Conference. ETI also offers specialized training, such as Crystal Reports and advanced database instruction, periodically at various locations. In addition, Web-based training is also used for refresher training or in conjunction with major releases. ETI offers free, monthly module-specific training via WebEx in addition to all other training options.
