Emergency Technologies’ Visual Fire application was integrated with Motorola CAD, the county’s computer-aided dispatch system. The integrated application includes Fire Records Management, EMS Patient Reporting, Hydrant information, and Structural Pre-Plans, along with several additional modules that provide the Horry County Fire Rescue Department with modern technology that will increase operational efficiency throughout the department. The Visual Fire suite, which is developed using familiar and proven Microsoft technology, operates on industry standard Windows Server and SQL Server database.

The Horry County Fire Rescue Department consists of more than 450+ personnel who provide emergency services for approximately a 196,000 year-round residents and millions of visitors over an area of approximately 1200 square miles. The implementation of the Fire Records Management System was part of a large County-wide public safety technology project. The project which was led by Motorola, Inc. encompassed a new computer-aided dispatch system, and a police records management system.
