Raleigh, North Carolina – May 4, 2007 — The National EMS Information System's (NEMSIS) Technical Assistance Center has certified Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) as a NEMSIS silver compliant software vendor. ETI’s Visual Fire and Visual EMS meet the data gathering, reporting and security requirements established by the National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS).

Emergency Technologies has worked very hard to conform to this emerging, national standard to ensure that Visual EMS has the ability to collect and export the NEMSIS requirements. The NEMSIS requirements are very comprehensive, encompassing more than 400 data fields, specific to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) 2.2.1 dataset.

Data stored in Visual EMS can be exported for reporting, billing or other purposes and is HIPAA compliant.
