Erie County Pennsylvania signs contract for Emergency Technologies Visual Fire

Raleigh, NC – June 2008 –– Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) has signed a contract with InterAct Public Safety Systems to provide Fire/EMS Records software throughout the County of Erie, Pennsylvania.

Raleigh, NC – June 2008 –– Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) has signed a contract with InterAct Public Safety Systems to provide Fire/EMS Records software throughout the County of Erie, Pennsylvania.

In late March, ETI signed a contract to implement Visual Fire and Visual Fire Mobile to be used in the field throughout the County. Anticipated go-live is scheduled for late 2008, once ETI and has completed Training, Implementation, and Acceptance Testing.

Working through its strategic partner, InterAct Public Safety Systems, and using a requirements-driven selection process, Erie County selected Visual Fire. Together, ETI and InterAct offer an integrated solution that will allow the County to have an integrated public safety information system.

Visual Fire is an application that integrates fire incident reporting, EMS Patient Care Reporting, Mobile Field Reporting, Training and certification records, Hydrant information and Structural Pre-Plans, along with several additional modules that will provide the Erie County Fire Department’s with modern technology that will increase operational efficiency throughout the departments. Visual Fire will also enable Erie County Fire Departments to submit fire incident data to the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS).

The Visual Fire suite, which is developed using familiar and proven Microsoft technology, operates on industry standard Windows Server and SQL Server database.

This project includes implementation of Visual Fire in the 32 Fire Departments located throughout the County.
