Raleigh, NC – November 20, 2008 – Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) is excited to announce that the City of San Antonio, Texas Fire Department has gone live with ETI’s National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) module, which is part of the Visual Fire software suite. This deployment marks the completion of Phase I of ETI’s contract to provide a Fire Records Management System to the seventh largest U.S. City, the City of San Antonio, Texas.
In August, ETI executed a contract with the City of San Antonio to implement ETI’s Visual Fire, a public safety software solution. The implementation of Visual Fire’s NFIRS module allows the San Antonio Fire Department (SAFD) to be in compliance with the FEMA NFIRS 5.0 national standard.
Visual Fire is an application that integrates fire incident reporting, EMS Patient Care Reporting, Mobile Field Reporting, Training and certification records, Hydrant information and Structural Pre-Plans, along with several additional modules that will provide the SAFD’s with modern technology that will increase operational efficiency throughout the department.
“The initial phase of the San Antonio project has been a tremendous success and I think it further demonstrates ETI’s expertise in implementing a large scale solution. We are extremely proud to have San Antonio Fire Department as a customer and excited to complete this phase.” said Kyle Breischaft, President & CEO of Emergency Technologies, Inc.
