Raleigh, NC (July 13, 2010) - Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) is excited to announce today that the city of Schertz, Texas Fire / Rescue Department is live on ETI’s Visual Fire. ETI’s Visual Fire solution will allow the City and County to have an integrated public safety information system to help streamline information sharing between City and County agencies. This installation is part of a larger contract with TriTech Software Systems and Orion Communications to upgrade the public safety software system in the city of San Antonio, city of Schertz and throughout the departments and agencies in Bexar County. This is the first go-live in this phase of the project and includes the implementation of the entire Visual Fire software suite, TriTech’s VisiNet Command, VisiNet Mobile, VisiNet Browser, Orion’s AgencyWeb System, an ANI/ALI interface, Station Alerting interface, TLETS Record Check, USDD Station Alerting gateway and messaging, Priority Dispatch ProQA and AQUA, and Personnel Integration with ETI’s Visual Fire and Orion’s AgencyWeb.

Visual Fire is an application that integrates fire incident reporting, Fire Investigations, EMS Patient Care Reporting, Mobile Field Reporting, Training and certification records, Hydrant information and Structural Pre-Plans, along with several additional modules. The software will provide the Schertz Fire / Rescue Department with modern technology that will increase agency-wide operational efficiency. Dispatchers and first responders will have access to Structural Pre-Plan information which detail hazards associated with certain addresses while en-route to scenes. Visual Fire’s multi-user, multi-agency functionality and role-based security gives users access to Visual Fire modules and functions that are applicable to their role within the department.
