Raleigh, NC – February 4, 2009 – Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) is excited to announce through TriTech Software Systems, one of ETI’s strategic business partners, has been selected to expand the capabilities of ETI’s Visual Fire system which is already installed and operational in the San Antonio Fire Department. This contract will increase the functionality of the Visual Fire System for San Antonio Fire and expand the system to include all Bexar County Fire Departments and the City of Schertz. ETI’s Visual Fire solution will allow the City and County departments to have an integrated public safety information system to help streamline information sharing between City and County agencies.
Visual Fire is a public safety software application designed specifically for fire and EMS agencies. Visual Fire is an application that integrates fire incident reporting, EMS Patient Care Reporting, Mobile Field Reporting, Training and certification records, Hydrant information and Structural Pre-Plans, along with several additional modules that will provide the City of San Antonio, the City of Schertz and all other Bexar County, TX Fire Departments with modern technology to increase county–wide operational efficiency. Visual Fire will also be tightly integrated with TriTech’s Computer-Aided Dispatch system, VisiCAD.
In August 2008, ETI was contracted to provide a Fire Records Management System to the seventh largest U.S. City, the City of San Antonio, Texas.
This project is part of a larger 14.7 Million Dollar contract which the Prime Contractor, TriTech Software Systems, was awarded.
